Anne, You certainly have my Blessing. I was delighted with your video. Especially the many times you showed that we do everything one step at a time=--- one foot in front of the other. One of your teachers is my daughter Sandy (you showed her in your story ) I am her Mother ,yes, and I am still amazed at her teaching ability. So Go for it ,Anne!

What a moving testament to the idea that it is never too late to pursue your dreams and to create goals. Annie is such an example of what so many have struggled with and I find this so inspiring. As an almost 60 year old woman, who still has dreams unfulfilled and seemingly out of reach, I am moved to tears...tears of gratitude for the possibilities, to respect for the educational process and all the potential it holds, and hope for the future of Annie, myself, and so many others. Thank you for sharing yourself so honestly and poignantly Annie and I wish you the best. With all that you've overcome and all that you've mastered thus far; with all the integrity and diligence that you've shown in everything you do, you will go far. I can hardly wait to see what your future holds and you make my future look brighter!

This is a particularly moving story! I love the part where she sits down to help her nine-year old with homework and realizes she's got nothing. That inspires her to get her eye on the prize, and now she's targeting a career in neurobiology--amazing!
